Maxfield Parrish

Daybreak - 1922

The picture above "Daybreak" was my first formal introduction to Maxfield Parrish. To see Full size, better detail, click here--->Day Break . I have grown to love Maxfield Parrish prints and presently have 7. My favorite is "Daybreak". Just one look at the full size larger prints, incredible. I was surprised with Maxfield Parrish's work after reading about his intresting journey in life. In some ways like first hearing Vivaldi, 4 seasons. I had seen or heard the classic work all my life without knowing the artist. His popularity at one time was so enormous that his work could be found in one out of every four house-holds.

Maxfield Parrish Born July 25, 1870, Died March 30, 1966 (one year before I was born)

Day Break (Full Size) Hilltop 1926 Enchantment 1913

I am in no way associated with Maxfield Parrish or his estate, except that I admire his amazing work.
